Prayer is not just beneficial; it is essential in our abiding with Christ. A prayerless church is a powerless church.

The Bible is filled with verses on how we as the church should be a praying people, such as in Psalms 34:15 and 1 Peter 3:12, telling of the Lord’s attentive ear to the prayers of His people.

As we continue to grow in our love for Him and one another, as our church grows spiritually and numerically, and as our community and its needs expand, we need to pray consistently and intentionally.

Here is how you can pray with us and what to pray in unity with us.

Opportunities to Pray:

Join us in the Worship Center at FBC Justin on Monday nights at 7 p.m. for a time of prayer.

If you are unable to be present physically for prayer, would you consider praying at 7 pm, uniting with us in prayer from wherever you might be?

What to Pray:

  1. That the Holy Spirit would grow our hearts in humility, confession, and obedience to follow where He leads

  2. For the Lord’s direction, discernment, and wisdom …

    • As we reach new people, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with those in our community and

    • As we process new steps in ministering to our community, such as a new building and funding campaign, hiring new staff members,  new ministries, etc.

  3. Unity in the body as we walk together in His vision and mission for FBC Justin

If we lift these needs to the Lord together, He will answer! Would you pray with us?
