Meet Pastor Beaux
On January 14th, 2018, FBC Justin extended an offer to Beaux Hinote to be our Lead Pastor. Beaux and his family come to us from the community of Luling, TX where Beaux served over six years as pastor of another local church.
“I’m just your typical guy. I grew up in the small town of Orange in Southeast Texas to some wonderful Christian parents,” says Beaux. “From early age, I learned to sweat, play hard, and drink sweet tea.”
About his faith in Jesus, Beaux recounts, “Jesus Christ became my Lord and Savior at the age of 7 through the Royal Ambassador program of Mauriceville Baptist Church and was baptized in the following days. I was called to full-time ministry in the tenth grade and have loved this journey of following after God from its start. I have spent the last 19 years of my life in the ministry, with 15 years being in full-time ministry.”
Pastor Beaux has a great family, too. “I am blessed beyond measure to be married to the love of my life, Amy. We have with four wonderful kids, (and) it is my greatest desire and passion to be the spiritual leader of my family that God has given to me.”
Before coming to us, Beaux was the pastor of Central Baptist Church, Luling, Texas. “I have served in churches throughout the great state of Texas and love being a part of the Kingdom’s work of declaring the Gospel and making disciples. This call has lead me to places all over our beautiful country from Portland, Oregon to Atlanta, Georgia as well as to international destinations like in Tegucigalpa/Siguatepeque, Honduras, and Reynosa/Miguel Aleman, Mexico.”
“I love tamales, coffee, boiled crawfish, gumbo, and anything from Blue Bell,” Beaux says of his favorite things, “sports, hiking, camping, chilling out with my family, writing, music, reading, and watching re-runs of the Dick Van Dyke Show and the old Hawaii Five-O TV series. I love to travel and have great conversations over snacks and a board game. Mostly, I love advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing my Lord God the honor, glory, and praise He so deserves.
“I am passionate about being the pastor of my family first; making disciples of those around, and leading the church God has called me to do the same. My life motto has been and will always be “no compromise,” for I believe if we are called to follow Christ and be holy, then we must do so passionately, furiously, and without compromise.
