Into the Word: How to Read, Understand, and Apply the Bible
Led by Shawn Finney

Do you wish you had a better grasp on the Bible? Have you wondered if you were applying it to your life correctly? In Into the Word, we’ll take a deep-dive to give you a clear understanding of how we got the Bible, the different genres of the Bible, how to make sure you’re not approaching it with pre-conceived baggage, and how to apply it deeply for maximum life-impact.

The Book of Ephesians
Led by Tom Strader

Paul writes a heartfelt letter to the church in Ephesus with the love of a pastor. The Ephesian church was encountering major spiritual warfare, so this letter is Paul’s clearly-stated reminder and affirmation of who believers are in Christ Jesus, how much He loves us, and how we can live our lives in unity as light in dark places. Ephesians is only six chapters, but they are packed full of power, love, and hope in our Lord.

NOTE: These three classes will all meet on Sunday afternoons from 4-5:30PM, January 6 to March 17, with one week off for Spring Break. As part of DU Kids, children will participate in Bible lessons, Bible-themed games, and other fun activities during this time. Please let us know if you have kids who will be attending. Thanks!
