The world can never offer of a follower of Christ better counsel than His own word is able to offer. It can never suffice.

We believe that word of God offers more than just a "band-aid." The Word is our path to true healing.
For too long, the Church and its members have looked to the world to lead us to where only God can lead us.

Through Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, we now have an opportunity to become equipped by receiving training in Biblical Counseling.

Drs. John Babler and David Penley of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary have committed to training men and women to be able to handle the growing demand and legitimate need for counseling in our day.

They are convinced that the world cannot offer the solution to our problems as believers and that to rely on worldly philosophies and remedies is to sell God short.
